These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CarePaws mobile app ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

CarePaws is a pet-health tracking app intended to help caregivers log and review feline diabetes-related data, including glucose readings, insulin doses, and weight.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Medical Disclaimer

CarePaws is not a medical device and does not provide veterinary diagnosis or treatment advice. Always follow your veterinarian's guidance for dosing, monitoring, and care decisions.

3. Access and Device Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and iCloud/App Store account where applicable. We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access to your device.

4. User Data

You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered into the App. Most app data is stored on your device. Optional sync features may use Apple iCloud/CloudKit.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

CarePaws may offer optional premium subscriptions (such as CarePaws Pro) through Apple App Store billing.

• Payments are charged to your Apple ID after purchase confirmation
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID subscription settings
• Free trials, if offered, convert to paid unless canceled before trial end

6. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple support channels.

7. Data Deletion

You may use in-app data deletion features where available, including Delete All Data and Delete Account.

Deleting your data in CarePaws does not automatically cancel App Store subscriptions; cancellation is handled through Apple ID settings.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, content, and functionality, is owned by CarePaws or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App except as permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms are violated or the App is misused.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarePaws and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when changes are made. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.
